How much would you say you spend a month on groceries?

This can be dependent on a few factors! I bring a lot of staple pantry items up with me each fall, as well as meat, so that cuts back on my monthly bill a lot! But on average my first year as a single person without bringing any meat up I spent around 300 a month. If you like to buy snacks, pop, or more pre-made meals, your bill will be higher as those items cost a lot more!

Hi Hever! Each community has slightly different prices, but the one I had in Pond was $962 per month. And they take our rent directly out of our pay cheques, so it’s automatically budgeted in. I also teach high school English!
