His umbilical cord was so unique.❤️ I haven’t ever seen a baby’s umbilical cord look like that.❤️ it was amazing!❤️ He has grown up so fast!❤️

To the midwife on the phone who doesn't think it's necessary to do kick counts more than once a day...my doctor told me to do them in the morning and night. I'm so glad missy didn't listen to her and went with her gut.

So so glad Missy went with her instincts. My baby could come any day now, and I find myself thinking of this vlog so so often. I hope my maternal instincts are as in tune as Missy's are. In a normal, low risk pregnancy, once a day kick counts are all that are needed, BUT, if you don't feel 6 kicks in 2 hours, you're supposed to go in regardless of your normal kick count time.

Mother's/Female intuition is something incredibly special. Very normal to be anxious n nervous with what you've gone through with previous pregnancies. And that is probably what the physicians/midwives were thinking, everything is fine and you were just nervous. A lot of women would have just listened to them and tried reassuring themselves that everything was fine. So glad you stuck to your gut feeling Missy. Bryan was right, you saved Oliver's life. You have the most precious family. God Bless

Every time I watch this I cry, for real. One year ago I found Missy's channel and watched every single of her videos and I remember that everything I could think was "OMG I hope Ollie has her eyes!" and then the second I came to Daily Bumps this vlog was up. I freaked out! I watched it and when Cassy picked Oliver I started crying. It has been a long journey since then, definetly. Oliver is more than 1 now! Crazy how it seems they are part of my family. Love you guys :)

I have been following you for a while now but never saw this until now...WOW a mothers instincts are so strong and I am SO glad you followed them and didn't listen to the midwife or Ollie wouldn't be here now...what an emotional birth from start to finish I had tears rolling down my cheeks SO happy for you both. I know that Ollie is running around now, just seen him on playlist but I had no idea about his entrance into the world was so touch and go. My son was 3 weeks early and weighed 8lb 1oz, imagine what he would have been had I gone full term. We worry about our children from conception till we part through death and beyond I too lost 3 babies and also my 11yr old son so I know pain well...I am just so happy for you both that Ollie was ok and is thriving well, such a cutie pie

Bryan and Missy thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this. I have been watching you guys since early 2013 :) At that time I was about 5m pregnant. Your experience and by following your instinct was an eye opener for me. My son was my second child but, this time it felt different, I remembered yall's vlog. At 37wks same had happen to me, he was not moving much and I felt something was not right??!?! Sure enough 11/19/2013 My son had to be born via csection and my VBAC could not happen. His cord was wrapped around his neck, If I would have waited a day later.... my son could have possibly been still born. Your experience helped save my sons life, I stood my ground with the docs lol so thanks guys #DailyBumps

Way to go MOM ! I went through something similar to you I had two miscarriages and I give birth to my son at 21 weeks he lived almost 4 hours which was a long time considering how early he was and being told he would be born dead .I had a tear in my placenta that was never found although I had 13 ultrasounds ...anyway I know how scared and paranoid you can be after going through what you have been through .BUT I AM SO GLAD you stuck to your guns and insisted that they check your baby so great call MOM ! You know your baby and your body better than ANYONE !

cathie b We did have 3 but we had to have one of ours put down about a year ago because she was eat up with cancer . She was the daughter of the one you see in the photo her name was "FAT HEAD" my daughter named her that when she was little and the name stuck ...LOL She was so short and small but her head was HUGE compared to her body she was such a cutie ! We also have a male and he's our youngest and full of energy . The sweet girl you see in the photo was our first Boston and her name is Sissy she's so old now that all she wants to do is lay around and sleep. She's been in our lives for so many years I can't imagine life without her .
