I was just on the 5th segment( 4/6 - 4/25) of the world cruise (LA to NY) and the 5th of my Cunard cruises (4 on the QM2) and this cruise was - by far - the BEST cruise that I have ever been on. I think Sandro Renieri (our Matre'd) in the Queens Grill Dining Room had something to do with it. I have never had service like that in my life. Thank you Sandro and Edwardo and Graham for the BEST CRUISE YET.

Richard Krueger I agree, Richard. The Queen Victoria is a sensational ship - not quite an ocean liner, but then again no ordinary pleasure cruise ship (malls with a keel). I had the privilege of being on board her during a NYC to Southampton crossing, and I must say the entire experience was a delight. Dining in the Princess Grill was an utter pleasure, service incomparable. I am looking forward to being aboard the QM2, for it's the only true ocean liner afloat.

Queen Victoria is the only way to travel!! All the voyages have been absolutely fantastic. We can not wait until Oct 2014 for our next cruise.

Queen Victoria is a wonderful ship, a very fine and stately ship. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

It look fantastic but how the hell do you book a Grill suite I look at the Cunard web thingy and all I get is unavailable. So how many years must one book ahead to get a Grills Suite.

You have to pay for meals? I was just about to book 48 nights Southampton to Sydney in 2019 - not now!

slickmcintyre No you do not. You only pay if you want to dine in the Verandah restaurant which has a cover charge. You get complimentary dining in the restaurant associated with your stateroom grade (eg Queens Grill for Queens grill suites etc)
