Gotta make a statement Being able to place water towers on land is nothing more than a gimmick. There are no situations where spending 40k on a bad tower with range reduction just to *allow* you to place water towers on land is better than placing Land towers on land OH AND ALSO THE FINAL HARMONIC BAD DAMAGE ISNT A BUG LETS GOO

I loved final Harmonic before I discovered how goated it is at taking down bads, it's now probably my favorite tower period with this piece of knowledge But even though you're getting backlash for this videos take I gotta agree top path 5th tier is pretty mediocre, 4th tier is actually pretty good but when I use it I don't upgrade beyond that - besides I'd much rather use the bard mermonkey anyway.

Its the best mermonkey path for bosses to get more boat farms and get a paragon for your ace to buff it if there's no water. It's also good for late game runs, allowing you to place water towers on maps without water

crazy that a main support isnt good at damage, its like using a perma brew and complaining its not doing damage like its meant for support, also just to let you know a 402 and a 042 mermonkey with a good hero and a 420 alch can solo up to about round 80 (possibly map dependant), it is such an amazing tower

The main difference is that it doesn't has enough support Slowdown is somehow worse than Its own t4 The pierce increase doesn't compensates the price,this tower just has no reason to upgrade to t5

@@yuricesar9706 its slow is longer on t5 then t4 plus it does more damage then t4 for obvious reasons, and its support is really good, it acts like a glue gunner and brickle, also i was just doing some testing and a 502 with 4 other 002 mermonkeys in the back can whipe out 200 round 40 moabs clumped in a single spot, now name another tower that is about 40k total that can do that, your just not using him right if you think his bad for the price, cause for 30k and able to do that is worth the price, also also the pierce buff is massive if you stack it with bricle and a perma spike

@@CoconutOrNot_ well true they do that i did forget about them my bad, but my original statement of a 402 and a 042 mermonkey with a good hero and a 420 alch can solo to round 80 is still valid and is one of the cheapest (to my knowledge) tower combos that gets close to round 100, just a get a 502 and 052 and you can get to round 100

Instead of 5-0-0 mermonkey you can just use 4-0-0 mermonkey and 4-2-0 boat. Its not only cheaper; it also deals more damage and the stun is better...

top path is straight up overrated imo, they are just hyping it up cuz its a new tower... however the fact that u can place it on water and ground is such an insane utility so i can understand why its a bit weaker than an average tower. middle path does insane burst damage for its price so i love it and bottom path not only takes camo off it also does that funny thing.

Hey buddy try this glitch the bloon solver with bottom path mermonkey 5th tier the glue destroys bad balloons on round 100 and was able to break a bad open on 125 on longer maps but anyways it reataches glue and uses all the glue damage immediately multiple times while in the harmonic music ring im guessing its the description on one of the harmonc upgrades says damage over time used all at once

you did not mention the ability to place water towers on land as long as it is withing a certain distance of the 5-0-0 mermonkey, and it is like a tack where the tentacles only attack bloons that pass in front of the individual tentacles, so placing it next to a straight track loses about half of the potential damage

The water-on-land will remain as a gimmick until the tower itself is good enough to be used regardless of said gimmick For the tentacles thing, i didn't know how it worked so I'll keep it in mind, thanks for the info

The t4 is actually kinda good? but i agree that the t5 is terrible It lacks in terms of damage,just not being a good damager The slowdown is decent,but just stop on the t4 The pierce increase is a interesting thing,but it costs too much for It,making the only viable towers to use this when using Lota as a wincon being sporm and press It needs many buffs to be a decent t5

there are more towers that utilise pierce except spactories, and the slow effect is kinda useless anyway. try it with top path boat and bottom path subs. the tier 5 also lets you place water towers on land, and the damage isnt as bad as you think top path isnt a pure damage, you should try popseidon as it has a great ability and a strong attack with lots of pierce. and try top path with boats, it givea you a super easy no harvest with top path boat and sauda, plus decent amounts of save up for another damage tower

So, Top path gives % pierce which is very counterintuitive, because typically towers that want pierce are low base pierce tower, so its buffs are significantly weaker than alch and not worth the 40k to add on top of alch, hence spac is the only beneficiary due to its high base pierce and actually using its pierce The water-on-land gimmick is fun but its never optimal considering LoTA costs 40k in the first place And the damage is in fact, as bad as i think. There is 0 reason why a 40k support-hybrid dps tower should need me to babysit it on round 66 Making no harvest easy isnt really something unique to LoTA, its just pretty easy in general

@@joaquin_chua pod doesnt benefit with pierce (podzili's main synergy is moab hex, not her passive) and doubles up on LoTA's r100 weakness Bouncing bullets has a base TWO pierce you are not going to spend 40k for 0.6 pierce on a 5k tower

I think the mermonkey is surprisingly balanced? Idk yet but it doesn’t seem that overpowered, but doesn’t seem like a bad tower at the same time which is surprising seeing how the beast handler was on release.

It Also could be that it does not work in this Map i did some testing on Monkey Meadow (5-0-2 Mermonkey) and well its better when there is more bloons to use its full pierce (got like 20,000 more pops whit the max 0-0-2 stack on round 98). the main weakness (for this tower in general) are Easily No lead poping power (only 0-4-0 gets that) and Kinda small range (Unless you get the middle path again) it is Better than than Crossbow master (on Damage I Guess) tho The Pierce buff is % from what i have Heard tho it does make a difrence if used Rigth.... Tho i do have to say the Price is a bit Expensive? (38,725$ for 5-0-0 whit the tower price and the previous upgrades. And whit the same logic 39,480$ for 5-2-0 or 39,350$ for 5-0-2 which is the better cross path i think?) 40k price tag is a proplem. As for the Water towers and land thing well its a Bonus Main use for getting the Paragons on maps you could not normaly get (i dont have any opinions on the Moab slow) Summary this path is Ok. Honestly i dont hate your opnion tho we both need to do more stuff whit this tower... Tho on a non rant positive note update 45 is gona Give us a the last boss from BMC that is not in this game and 46 Gives us tack Paragon plus some other cool stuff in thease updates. (or atleast thats what Ninja Kiwi said reddit) I hope you can Read all of this lol
