Ms. Havrot, you are the GOAT! I hope more people find your channel. We would really appreciate shorts on tasks we do a lot, like factoring polynomials, and as you mentioned, converting radians to degrees etc. Thanks so much!

Ms. Havrot (Finnish?), Irishman here, a new teacher of Maths and arguably the biggest learner in the room. Would love to get my hands on textbooks and solutions. Love Calculus and Linear Algebra. Could you link/tell me titles of the textbooks you refer to please? Very much appreciated and love your work.🎉

Textbooks are easy to find on pdf form Nelson Functions, Nelson Advanced functions, Nelson Calculus and vectors. Just add pdf after each and I’m sure you will find someone who has uploaded the textbook. Also you can Google Solution Manual for each. Thanks for watching. Not Finnish but actually Polish (on my dad’s side) and Scottish/Norwegian on my mom’s. ❤️

@@mshavrotscanadianuniversit6234 Awfully nice of you to reply so soon. Hate to be a pain in the neck, but as a 61 year old, I'm more comfortable with textbooks. Are there textbooks available for your recommendations? I'll buy them second hand. Currently working in Louisiana with "Troubled Teens" who are getting their lives back on track. Very rewarding.

hey mrs havrot love the vids, i have 4 courses next semester and 1 extra course in night shool, I really want to get a 95+ average on all my subjects, how many hours daily outside of school do you think is needed to study to obtain those high grades, thanks.
@mshavrotscanadianuniversit62342 жыл бұрын
Well, that depends on how easily you grasp the concepts. I’ve known students (only a small handful) that could basically just listen in class and understand what to do while others had to work very hard at every lesson. It’s definitely a personal question and not knowing you it’s impossible for me to comment. You will know when you do the homework exercises.

@@mshavrotscanadianuniversit6234 thanks you ms that does make sense, my plan is to study 2 hours a day, do you personally think that's efficient and doable

I would suggest one hour for each course. Some days you might not need as much review and practice.

@@mshavrotscanadianuniversit6234 thank you mrs much appreciated, yeah I was thinking 2 hours just for one course per day would cause me to burnout haha
