,About Inspector Quinn. - I would like him to have a chair to sit on - something designed to fit in, with the decor of the court , eg., his own short bench or desk. He could stand up when necessary, to approach Judge Caprio, etc. It doesn't seem right to have to stand for innumerable hours. Then, because of the camera, he has always to look his best, whether his muscles are tired or not. I am serious! I love Judge Caprio and "Caught in Providence". In Dublin our cheapest parking fine is 40euro. If somebody goes to court about one, I don't think there is a court fee.

Kind of surprised about the little girl being an interpreter. Reason why I say this that because a long time ago I had to go to Traffic Court and saw something similar. The person was a Korean immigrant who could not speak English but he bought an interpreter with him. When it was his turn to speak. The Judge stopped his docket and ordered a continuance simply because The Courts are mandated to have *THEIR* interpreters do the work...Not the defendant (although the judge appreciated the defendant for bringing one).

You know, I think these kids don't know what they are saying. The Judge asks what their parents should be charged, and in most cases, the kids give the highest amount. I think they think that is the amount that their parents will receive, not have to pay. Maybe I'm wrong, but every time a kid comes up with the highest amount, that's the only thing I can assume.
@mikaku5 жыл бұрын
They say kids never lie. With that in mind, a kid in front of the personificatin of justice and discipline like a judge will always assume his/her fault or her parents fault. Only after being asked again if she would like to reconsiderate, then the kid understands that has some level of decision in this.

To bad here in providence there is cameras that take video and pictures for going 1 mile an hour over the speed limit that they never taught anyone in driver training about! I am sure if the judge dismissed it was for good reason I myself have had to go in front of the very same court for this reason. But it easier to blame her intelligence.
