In 1972, the municipality of Dronten was founded in the drained Flevopolder. The municipality, with the villages of Swifterbant and Biddinghuizen next to it, quickly developed into a municipality with over 40,000 inhabitants.
In this video we take a look at Dronten. The villages and surroundings such as amusement park Walibi Holland, the event area of Lowlands and Ketelhaven will return in a later video.
