I like that you stayed true to your Hoosier roots and never went Hollywood on us. As a native Hoosier Indiana has a lot of beautiful countrysides to see. Nothing like cruising an old Indiana country road with no destination. Beautiful home.

No he did not , video shows guy lunged towards Tony’s car while it was moving , sprints don’t have clutches so they can’t stop without killing the engine and their idle speed is at least 35 mph , I know it was a bad situation but we all know as racers you don’t get out of your car on track unless it’s a red flag condition , it’s sad the racing world lost a racer and parents lost their son , I’m not in any way trying to say it’s ok either way , it’s a tragedy that should have been prevented but because it was tony Stewart the opposing driver wanted to make a scene , and he did . I also will say as a racer that drugs and alcohol doesn’t have a place in our sport or any sport , but in this incident it played a part , a deadly one.

Saw you at a Mexican restaurant couple years ago up in Iowa during Knoxville nationals. Seemed like a genuinely good dude. Alot of people asking for autograph and pictures. Very polite. I lived about 30 miles from Columbus, In. when Tony was building his house. It was a major deal, the day, the truck loads of fish were delivered, to his huge pond. Tony used to be seen quite a lot, at the local casinos. Always friendly to his fans. We used to love going to his race track, Eldora, over in Ohio. He had some good charity races, and many Nascar drivers came, to race.
