In 1954 I started 1st grade at My Old Kentucky Home school, over Christmas break in 1957 we moved to Lake City Fla.. We had lots of family living around Bardstown, if your namesake rhymes with "Grape juice" we are probably related, love to hear from you! My Dad was born in Beam Kentucky but grew up on farm, which is now part of Bergheim National Forest. Lots of great memories of living around Bardstown!

I have family in Bardstown ever since I can remember and still do. I can remember years and years ago, coming into town on 245 and we’d turn left at 3rd and it was a stop sign. I don’t think there was a traffic light anywhere in Bardstown. I was also in town when the officer was ambushed.
