I respect the hell out of Mat for working with people on his HWPO program that aren't elite! Please keep up with this as that is truly something that isn't done elsewhere and appreciated by people just trying to get better.

I'm guessing Eric made this video... this is one of the best videos in the CrossFit space that has been produced in a long time. I knew it was going to be good after you captured the conversation between Mat & Jayson after Event 1. This is awesome as a fan. Thank you.

Just did my first intro to crossfit today here in Hawaii and it was awesome and a great workout, thanks all to this guy Mat, didn't know what crossfit was back in 2016 and I came across the games and seen Mat compete and inspired me to pull the trigger today to get into crossfit. Yea I should of started back then but I was in a different place in my life back then but now I have time to incorporate crossfit in my life. But again thank you Mat for the inspiration that you given me and to everyone else you have inspired. Keep up the hard work and hope to meet you one day. Aloha🤙🏽

I don’t know why, but I don’t see Hopper winning a CF Games title. I like him and hope he does well, but for some reason I am not betting on that horse just yet. I think Medeiros, Vellner, Malheiros, Saxon, Fitkowski, Ohlsen and even a few others will make it tough for Hopper to even break into the top 5 in the next few years. We’ll have to see, but if he goes top 10 this year he will definitely be heading in the right direction.

Just started HWPO60 this week after trying out some of the ones available on the channel. Great program, I’m working hard in that time. Is there a possibility that optional extras be added for the HWPO60 like the regular program? I chose the 60 version as I don’t have time to complete the full HPWO ones in a sitting, but I do have some evenings where I could do another session. Just a suggestion, I’ll probably be doing slower cardio or hypertrophy /body building Accessory work that focused on complimenting what was completed in the main session.

What do you guys think Hoppers potential is? It’s a roller coaster of expectations for that guy. I could definitely see him taking a Jason Khalipa like leap forward when he started working with Henshaw. Still think being that big is a drag overall, but guys like Brent make it work. Top 10 seems achievable, top 5 seems like a stretch for this year. Awesome to see a totally different type of athlete develop through the sport.

Everything was shot on either the Sony A1 or the A7iv, with either the 24-70 2.8 GM or the 70-200 2.8 Mk II GM. There may be one or two shots in there with the 50 1.2 GM. Everything was filmed in Slog-3 and graded with Phantom LUTs.
