Trying something similar yesterday - start with spikes build and then rebuild as much claws as I can + carrot Goober to get empower (+some spikes as well). Midgame was meh, but survivor went easy

Kinda curious what people would think of a shop option of being able to spend gold to remove and item from the available pool of items for the duration of your run. Would this be too broken or expensive?

since you're using the claws of attack, why not trying to turn your hungry blade into a bloodthorne ? the spike does boost the claws' attack speed so I don't see what you'd lose with a blodthorne instead of a hungry blade. okay, you answer it later in the video and yeah, I forgot about the stamina cost.

A crown might have saved you against that last dark sabre build. Isn't it also not just battter to get 2-3 wolpers for random buff generation instead off the complicated mana way? though I suppose it is a way to play leaf..

Why not a ripsaw instead of the hungry if the spike builds are the main counter to your build ? Is the healing provided by the vamp that much more valuable ?

Ripsaw, at current patch, is .2 seconds slower and .5 more stamina used per hit, with zero scaling. None of those traits are desirable. Hungry blade converts regen to vamp, which helps scale all 3 melee weapons.

yes vamp is much more valuable, imagine having 10 vamp, so every weapon heals you +10 for every hit and the claws are fast.
