After a year do you plan on keeping your natural locs in or are you going to comb them out or cut them off?

Honestly, I was at first going to cut off the extensions and comb them out, but I’ve been feeling myself with them 😂 so the extensions may stay past a year.

The lady who did my hair made them for me. Her IG is versastyles.byindigo, definitely check her out if you’re in the DMV. If not @fashion.dreads on IG self them. They make the dreads with Afro kinky hulk hair.

wow a year?? i honestly didn’t even know you could keep extensions in that long. are the extensions suppose to help loc your own hair in the process? also how much was it? i’m not gonna lie i skimmed thru the video so idk if you mentioned it lol

Yes, so I didn’t want to go through the starter loc phase, I wanted some length, so my actual Loc’d hair get’s to a length that I love, then I’ll cut the extensions off.

It was a little over $700 (wayyy cheaper than some) for the locs, the attachment, and styling.

Hey EV! If you are not a permanent person then this is the method for you! The process is seamless & well worth it. I can’t wait for you to be on this journey with me. Hopefully you’ll be inspired to get some loc extensions as well! I plan on cutting them after a year & seeing the progress, but I may love them so much that I keep them 🥰
