Nomadic - Narrowboat life as it is
In a world full of misleading information and drama on social media it is good to try and show the reality of living a life on the UK canals, it is not cheap and is getting more expensive daily and going to get worse after latest government changes.
The deteriation and neglect is a problem for all who navigate also for the people who like to be by water
It is a tough life and can be easily mistaken for a life of leisure but the social media posts cover up the bad side of the ever increasing crime rate / violence, zero police action taken on reported crimes and above inflation increases on licence fees for continuous cruisers , lack of available/affordable moorings etc..
Winter is coming and fuel prices have gone up about 10% from last year and are due to rise again soon as winter comes along
