Reason why darius arm froze was because trundle is a iceborn with a true ice weapon and when Darius touched it with his axe his axe was like cursed with frost i assume. so if touched it is almost the same as if a none iceborn picks up a weapon made of true ice like trundles club. they feel insane amounts of frostbite and pain basically.

it was not true ice, but an ice weapon . True ice is only possessed by lissandra with the watcher magic in it. but the other things are true, except that the iceborns do feel the pain but they can bear it...kind of like more resistant

@@rickbost2152 Don't get me wrong Still here was very good, but idk if it was because of the hyper realistic cinematics riot has put out in the last few years but the combat in them has been very lackluster in a sense. For example, in Still here the fight between morgana/kayle and aatrox in the sky when they were flying felt very floaty, like the attacks didn't have any impact whatsoever, same thing with yasuo scene, people like to say he didn't wanna hurt them but with every sword slash it lacked impact and contact between them. For some reason this fortiche's arcane animation style fits so much better these types of cinematics, and the combat actually hits different. For me this was definitely the best cinematic so far because of this style of animation, and even though i like the hyper realism and characters looking very real and clean, i just prefer this a lot.

The last picture could be both a place and a dagger, but seeing how Naafiri is literally portrayed as a wolf both in game and in the teaser I'm inclined to believe that the picture is also Naafiri but portrayed as her weapon form as it is in game too. I believe the mark shown at the end was supposed to symbolize Naafiri, if you look closely it resembles a dagger with an eye in the blade. The lyrics of the song refers a lot to dogs one of them being “i like it when the bite marks cut through the skin” or something like that and a bunch more reference to dogs, since Naafiri used to be a dog who happened to pick up the darkin blade.

Looks like this is meant to take place somewhere immediately after Arcane (Mel wears the same outfits she has on during the epilogue on the ship) which is, if I recall, 10 years or so before current league canon. I base this on the fact that Cait and Vi are estimated to be roughly in their 30s whereas they're both in their early 20s in Arcane. That would also make Darius much younger than the trifarian general we know. Wonder if the show will be about Swain and Darius getting rid of Darkwill. LB and Vlad getting rid of the monarchy would certainly be a bold move.
