One Heart : Universal wisdom from the worlds scriptures- by Bonnie Louise Kuchler. While I was reading this book I always found my mouth hitting the floor in amazement! For the first time in my life I experienced God ALL over the place at the same time! The scriptures, which were not just distance apart,( miles), but apart in the sense of time,( years, eras, etc…etc…). They all said the same thing, offering some wisdom in a given area of life, but just saying it with different words or a different voice, borrowing the way you said it in one of your YT videos…lol. It was amazing!!!!

I’m glad I found your TY channel. I have always wondered why there are so many differing religious traditions out there, even differing sects within a particular religion. It’s like looking at an abstract painting, seeing the same image but seeing it differently. The confusion can be torturous at times! Who has it actually right? Does any one of these have it right? I asked a Roman Catholic Priest, “ what is THEE truth?” His answer to me was, “ Nobody actually knows what THEE truth is. We just go on with what we believe and we go from there.” Well, at that moment it felt as though a huge boulder was lifted off my shoulders! Someone finally told the truth, at least I think so. He didn’t try to “sell” me the Roman Catholic way of being religious, even though I will say I was born and raised in a Roman Catholic way of religion. I’m not active in any church or religion. I kind of bounce back and forth from Christian to Agnostic and back again. I ponder a lot about all this, have been for decades. My feet are never planted firmly, it’s like a forever tremor.

You and I are not that different. There is a healthy (in my opinion) dose of agnosticism in all of my convictions. It's a delicate dance. I only know that I am REALLY put off by people who claim to have certainty. My sense of it is this--the more certainty someone claims to have, the more I think that they really don't have much of an understanding at all--they've just chosen a side, planted a flag, and grown belligerent about it. I like that priest you spoke to--now that's a shape of Christianity I really respect and gravitate toward.

@@PeterBolland thank you. If I remember correctly it was a man named Sadhguru who said something like…” the most open minded thing anyone can say is, I don’t know.”

@@PeterBolland when I watch you on YT you kind of remind me of Franciscan Priest Richard Rohr. I read his book, The Universal Christ. I look forward to watching more of your videos!

Hi Peter new subscriber here, great content from what I am seeing so far! I would be curious to hear your thoughts on a man named Ken Wheeler, he has a YT channel called Theoria Apophasis and he is also a great philosopher such as you, but he also brings field theory into the teachings, the ether, dielectricity and magnetism being the 2 fundamental modalities of same. Anyhow I think you’d really like his stuff if you haven’t already come across it. ❤️
