Thank you Sir, Triple A! Sorie Town used to have a popular football field, and it is exactly where the downward slope of the Hill Bypass Road is located. Also, there was a beautiful and amazing waterfall out there. My neighbourhood of King Street and Circular Road. Such a great memory 💙🪘🙏🏿

Hi, Triple-A, and thank you for another great addition to the Freetown Walking Series-Sorie Town. These areas on this side of the Hillside Bypass road all share a common notorious theme-trash everywhere. Plastics, rags, and what appear to be paper/cardboard are strewn everywhere and are most noted at water convergence areas. Yup, people dump their trash in waterways uphill, making it a problem for those below. This is the most selfish thing to do. But then everyone does it, and it all makes its way to the ocean. It's a tiring theme, but we must not get tired of calling it out. I am with you, Triple-A; I cannot understand how we've become accustomed to living with and by trash. It's mind-boggling! Oh, and don't get me started with the illegal land grab of the Hillside Bypass road's sidewalks. This should not happen anywhere, but seeing it happen here and watching it grow like a disease right before our eyes tells the story of what's happening in the country. This is a public space and should be used as such. When I see this kind of brazen thing happen and remain unchecked, it screams of authorities being negligent or, worse, on the take. Folks, we should not and cannot accept this illegal crawl. This is our capital city, and we must be proud of keeping it clean, clear, and friendly. Thanks for the shoutout, Triple-A, as always. For this video, we started and wrapped at the Hillside Bypass Road, just at different locations-the Sumalia Town entrance to Oniel Street by AA. Thanks for keeping us connected to our country with this steady stream of exploration and education. We appreciate you, Triple-A. Keep up the great work. I am optimistic the well-proved governance of City Authorities will solve these problems and improve the situation. Probably Triple A`s footage could trigger effective measures.
