America signed a peace deal with North Vietnam in 1972 and ceased operations early 1973, and only came back to evacuate people from Saigon. Love watching the F-4s having to use missiles because the early versions didn't have a gun. Lesson for future aircraft designers: ALWAYS mount a gun on your fighter. Failure weighs more than a gun does :P
