WELCOME TO UTAH - GREAT SALT LAKE and ODGEN TOUR

Today we are in Ogden, Utah, a city that is 45 minutes from Salt Lake City and known its Wild West history and iconic mountain slopes. Ogden was founded in the late 1800s and is one of the few cities in Utah not founded by Mormons, but instead first settled by fur traders. It offers a different scene than the rest of Utah, let's go explore!
We are here in fall, just in time for the change of the leaves. There are plenty of nature sites such as the Ogden Canyon which is filled with fall colors. We also visit the Great Salt Lake and Antelope Island, which is a UNESCO site. Next, we hike Ogden Mountain for a picturesque view of the city. We finish the day at Historic 25th Street, a street filled with 1800s architecture. We visit the Ogden Union Station and a number of speakeasies, eateries, and cafes.

I love Antelope Island. Out of all the islands in the Salt Lake, unfortunately you can only visit two of them. Antelope and Stansbury Island. If I recall correctly, the rest are privately owned. I could be wrong though. Great video guys. I've thoroughly explored the majority of Utah and this brought back incredible memories.

@@RunTheAtlas Its completely different. The entire island is BLM so we were able to camp for free but we woke up to people shooting their guns at like 7am. So since its BLM you can pretty much do anything you want. You do get those amazing views (like Antelope island) when you look away from the island. It's a cool little spot but the gunfire was a cause for concern. And theres a few hiking trails that you'll see cowboys and horses on.
