Supplies: It is recommended that students have a camera with a tripod (if not they can use a smartphone), a pair of headphones, a computer and they will NEED a free Gmail account.
Description: Video footage is being created at an ever expanding rate these days but most of it just gets left on the device in raw form. In this camp we will discover ways to convert that raw footage to professionally edited KZbin videos. Most of the week will be spent working with computer based video editing software to cut, splice and add effects to video footage to post on KZbin. Additionally, students will learn the basics of creating and growing a KZbin channel, learning marketing and creative design strategies. Finishing the class, students will compile their work into a demo reel, a short video showcasing their best videos from the week. Student should bring a device capable of shooting video and understand how to move that raw footage to a their computer.
