With videos like this it goes to show building Sierra Leone, Freetown in particular will take a lot of money to rebuild the infrastructure. It can be done if only that project is carried out by an international reconstruction agencies. Let the World bank take over through austerity measures where there is total control of the recourses of the country - including natural resources. We need a 5 years plan to achieve success. Please my fellow Sierra Leoneans, think about it. Thanks to Triple A for bringing to us and the world about our current problems facing us. Thank you again Triple A. This village has some sort of traditional flair. I enjoyed the virtual ride very much. People look busy and happy. As citizen of this nice place they probably have a strong self-condidence. I am grateful your video once more granted insight into a spectacular district that otherwise is kept hidden to travellers` view. 🙂

I’m from Wellington my entire family but we were lucky to escaped during the war…now in the United States, We have been in the state for 24 years. I don’t recall a lot of my memories from Wellington because I was 10 when we left. I will show my mom this video she will definitely remember. Thank you so much for showing my grandparents house in Philip street…. I remembered the house..thanks for the wonderful memories.

Memories made of these. Lived here with my family since 1980 on several streets, starting with Main Road adjacent to Palmer Street, next to Vidal Street off Palmer Street near the Wellington Community Centre, then to Beccles Street till 1999 January 6 when we except my late father (he passed on 24 Dec 2009) had to flee for our lives on foot to the capital city. Prior to that this is where we stayed when my younger brother was born, the NPRC coup in 1992, the Military Junta in 1997 as well as the Liberation by the Ecomog Troops a year later. The village has changed so dramatically only a few of the veterans and colleagues in the 80s and 90s still reside there. At least some landmarks still stand like the churches, St.John's at Main Road, Tregaskis at Old City Road, National Pentecostal Limba by Palmer St and Old City Road junction, and Florence Haley by Congo Water. Imagining what it would be like if I decide to take another tour, the culture shock, and changes to be prepared for. Mi village over 20 years following on........
