At least it makes him more epic, having his own background choir of leaking chemical waste steel drums. I also feel it makes him more inert (the slow kettledrum sounds unwieldy) and translucent (the fast cymbal slapping sounds like you could see whats going on inside of his casing). I like that a lot. :D
