WPS is called Welding procedure specification which describes the parameters of related welding details. I have a similar video of WPS you can watch to learn more about it. Thanks.

I need more informations about it, you want to weld which material mean to say what is the P no, accordingly the filler wire will be selected. Then we will find out whats the thickness of plate or pipe and how many layers of welding will be done. Current is different for root, hot and capping. So brother if you ask me as a general how much current is required all those informations are required and all those can be get from a WPS only where a prior PQR was being performed and some required testing being done.

if the coupon size is 8", shouldn't we be using QW 463.2(G) instead of QW 463.2(F)? please correct me if i'm wrong.
