Beautiful rat rods I would love to build one of these where I live my question is how do you guys get these vehicles safety inspected and who provides insurance so we could have a rat rod legalized where you guys go to get all this done so we can drive it on the highway or two in from the car shows without getting pulled over By the police and get a ticket any suggestions thank you

Its a custom car thats required to have certain safety features. Your local dmv would do the inspection. Much like if you build your own trailer...it must have turn signals. Brake lights, rails, etc. It would be insured mostly by all companies. Its just a custom hot rod. However, most just get liability insurance as full coverage would either be too expensive or not offered.
