WHAT IS THE BEST GAGE MEASURE FOR POST. HOW SPACED APART SHOULD THE POST BE.

What kind if welder is that? What should i be looking for to weld my iron fence? Any tips would be appreciated.

The welder is a OMICRON Gama 1500, simple robust MMA/TIG unit from Czech production. 150A, allow up to 3,15mm sticks. I am using it for years without any issue. Recommendation: do not look for a cheap noname/China units at hobby market. Look for long history products with company references and background. Remember, the physics rules are still valid, miniature and lightweight units cannot with reliability survive heavy duty.
