I wish these had been available back when I was welding for a living. I ended up buying a pair of leather sleeves that tied around your neck. They were certainly abrasion, heat, and UV protective but they were hot in the summer and not very comfortable.

I used them up until I had one slide down... I sunburn like a redhead, and I UV burn the same lol. Worst. time. ever. lol It was a lincoln one like the 1st

Thank you for your informative video. Hey, nice welding table! After you first showed building that table (? years ago), I went on Craigslist and found the same saw in my area. Paid $40 for it, disassembled it and put it in storage to build at a later time, much later! LOL. Still waiting to build it. Thanks again for your videos.

Thanks for bringing these to my attention. I use a cotton long sleeve over shirt, but looking for alternatives.
