My heart breaks every time I watch this. These boys deserve the whole world for their hard work and all they do for their fans and the world in general.

That wasn't the first time they won that award but it was so meaningful because they were so emotionally and physically drained. Constantly having to prove themself to the Korean, Asian and the World. (that is why they wanted to just give it up).Even till this day the media says that their success is due to their large fandom but what they forgot is that they have this large fandom because of their talents. That night they won every major categories and some more and they have been winning all the major categories since then in Korea and Asia. But even though they breaking all the records in the world they all still perceived as a boyband with their teenage fans. If you decide to react to their song "Tear" the rapline laid out all their feelings and emotions to thei fellow members regarding them thinking of disbanding. It is a very emotional rap song

Still cannot watch this without crying. They have been hated upon and "bullied" by people in their own country since their debut and now, they have international haters just because they are successful when they were not supposed to make it from the get go. They have a sad beginning but persevered and managed to overcome all obstacles, but not without scars along the way. That's why their songs are so meaningful as we can relate to their emotions and hardships. And yes, they are amazing people to begin with. That's why they are loved by many. That's why I am proud to be an Army. Hope you are too :-)

This is the clip that made me Army for life. Yeah, I loved their music, but this made me fall in love with them as people. Artists just don't react like that in award shows, they rarely behave so... human... BTS showed how deserving they were of this trophy. And now, so many years later... Every time, no matter how much I watch this, but every time our sunshine breaks, I break. And it takes me a good half hour after it ends before I can gather my broken pieces back into something like “normal”. I understand that human beings need pain and some suffering in order to grow, and that we need to understand sorrow so that we can truly appreciate joy - but seeing them in tears is so hard 🙏😢

From nobody, no one knows them from a small company that almost facing bankruptcy to the most well known worldwide boy group. They deserve this because of their hardworking and even though they are famous now, they still stay humble. This moment always make me cried even how many times I watched it. 💜💜💜💜

I think BTS for them is mostly a blessing but in some ways also as a curse. They have more or less lived together trough their entire youth in almost like a protected safe house kept away from a normal youth/life and all experiences that they normaly should have gained, experiences needed to feel confident and experienced enough to be on their own. The thought of splitting up must be so scary for them at the same time I think they wish they could have a bit more normal lives and independance. They are not just friends, they have been eachothers family and almost only source of comfort during the tough years as they couldn't see their families often for very long periods. Some people think it's weird that they are so physical with eachother but I can only imagine how many times they have comforted eachother during hard times. Harsh rules from production company, distance from family and long exhausting hours of practice not knowing if they are even gonna make it or not. I don't think we even to full can imagine what they have gone through together. I admire these guys for everything they are. Not just the performances or fixed looks but their tenacity to stay together, solve problems and not give up. To stay true to themselves and not putting up a mask for the fans, but to show their weakness, their fears, their crazy side and their goofy side and even making ugly faces. These guys are something special.

I think its time to see bts hardship 2013 2021 by xcelest, you will learn other side of their success i mean the path was realy hard and not many artists can endure all these things and keep themselves positive and not give up ! This always brings a tear. I think it was the first time any of them publicly spoke about how they considered disbanding. Of note, every time they say we will work harder and do better I think how could they possibly do better. But then they do. They improve on everything and every time new content is released I am in awe of their talent and work ethic. Of course their humility and the relationship with ARMY that makes each of us individually feel loved and worthy of love is unique as far as I have seen in my 50+ years. 💜

Yeah Jin even mentioned in an interview this year (you quiz on the block) that he kinda got into hot water for that (he didnt elaborate though if wether it’s from the company or the boys themselves)

there were so many challenges and obstacles. and still they are struggling with them even though they are world stars. cuz BTS company and BTS itself don't compromise with big power like media or political establishment. BTS has their own conviction and isn't afraid of pressure. i think that's one of the reasons many people around the world are so enthusiastic about BTS.

You nailed it. That's how I feel about them.. That they really showed us how human beings are supposed to be.. like being able to express your feelings and be yourself.. It's difficult to be vulnerable like that in the kind of world we live in. I think one of the things I admire the most about them is their bond because it just feels so real. I even envy it sometimes.

I’ve watched this clip several times, but I’m crying again. I’ve been Army since 2015, I’ve seen what BTS endured and I’m so glad the BTS had the perseverance to move forward in the face of adversity. They are certainly ppl in which we can no matter your age or gender we can pattern our goals on. BTS have certainly made my life better - I watch BTS content to make me smile and laugh. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t spend with BTS. Thank you for this reaction.

Hobi and jin crying sends me everytime lol… then the motherfuckers zoom in on sweet jungkook who had just been smiling and happy… but as soon as he saw hobis tears then there was no stopping his tears lol watching RM trying so hard to hold it together and not cry I think bc hobi and jin were crying and Tae, jk and jimin later…. Watching this speech always make me think back on the poems they wrote for the Run BTS season 2 final episode. Knowing the struggles that they were going thru in 2018, Jin’s poem makes total sense now 😭 he ended his poem on a funny note but he really was hoping that the group will pull through what they were all experiencing and for BTS not to end just yet. He tried to hide the heartbreak with laughter at the end but its was all plain to see in the member’s faces.
