On behalf of the Stanford African and African American Studies (AAAS) program, we are excited to invite you to our special panel discussion called, “Well, God Come Black”: Afro-Atlantic Religious Systems and the Black Divine on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET via Zoom. Panelists will discuss the celebration and worship of Black divinities within the Afro-Atlantic, the racialization of religion, and identity performance.
