I'll admit that I actually wanted him bought out of his contract. That contract was signed in 2019, and he underperformed to the point that Alex Lyon started last years playoffs. However, since he came back to the net, after being replaced by Lyon, he's looked like the guy I thought we were getting from day 1. I'll own up to it and say, "man I'm glad I was so wrong about him", but he really took his time to get dialed in.

Playing red leaguer incredible ice ( now the panthers ice den) every summer no matter how bad the panthers were they’d still have a few pplayers show up every week to interact with us as kids And to end it in high school playing against north broward where peter worrell was the coach

Maybe I'm cursing this, but Edmonton looks to win this whole thing. The way they started, no one would have believed that they could make it into the playoffs let alone the conference final and potentially the cup final. Give credit to where credit is due. Over the last three years in aggregate the Panthers are arguably the best team in the NHL. Three years ago they won the President's Trophy. Last year they made it to the Stanley Cup Finals and along the way beat the Boston Bruins who had just had the greatest regular season ever. This year they beat a hot and streaking Lightening team (4 to 1), a solid Bruins team (4 to 2), and the Rangers (4 to 2) who had a great regular season winning the President's cup. They will likely win the Stanley Cup in no more than six games, no matter their opponent. As a Rangers' fan I see no shame in losing to the Panthers. They are just that damn good.

Many people ignore or dont notice it, but Tkachuk greatly improved at defensive side of hockey. I know that people hate him, he is going under their skin, but this is his style, and who remember his father - well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. For me, as Panthers fan, Lundell and Bennet are very, very impresive, our second scoring elevated to another lvl. The only one that im not happy about, is Ekbald, compared to Gus or Monty.. but the real hero, is Bob, and if we win Stanley, giving conn smythe throphy to anyone else would be a sin.

Rangers blew this series. Horrible head coaching. Rangers were 7-1 in playoffs, when he started changing line up. Rangers played terrified. You have to play physical to slow down Florida. When a guy ( Rempe) plays 6 min and has more hits than the entire team for the game, it's a recipe for disaster. When teams are this fast, you must use body, Rangers ran away, and they lost.

It's weird but when watching the Panthers almost all season, Tkachuk doesn't really stand out to me. He is a great passer I guess. Barkov, Reinhart, and Forsling definitely stand out. In this last series Bennett looked like he was on turbo mode. They are a complete team, and I love teams that don't rely on a just a few guys.

out of the 4 teams that were left, i would have given New York the best chance at stopping the panthers, then Dallas, then Edmonton. as of now, i don't see the oilers system running over the panthers, too inconsistent. sure, their penalty killing is good, but Florida beats you 5 on 5. Florida is simply THE team, esp. when Barkov, Forsling, Tkachuk & Bennett have a look in their eyes like "We'll die on this ice before you take this from us.....are YOU willing to die out here?"😂😂😂 Compare the # of hits, SOG, possession time, O-Zone time, etc., it looks like a #1 vs #8 1st round mismatch. Groan, Panthers making me consider actually watching basketball instead. The Maurice style of hockey wears down opponents but as far as I’m concerned it wears down fans as well. Just boring, dull hockey, like the NJ devils of this era. Clog up the neutral zone, lay all over the ice in the defensive slot, and rather than have any sort of intentional offense just jump on the mistakes that happen when the opponent gets bored or tired or both by the 3rd period. The Rangers had the potential to take the game to Fla physically, but instead just played right into the Panthers game plan. Ugg, cant watch them anymore…
