Watching this as someone who works for the brand. they definitely work very well with brushes, hands just give a different effect and is quicker. I actually prefer apply de stress with a brush as it allows you to use less product

I'm a Trinny convert. Worth every penny and makes my mature skin feel and look fabulous. The products are creamy and don't crease or transfer. This is a game changer for my hooded eyelids. I love the simplicity of the products and the clever stacking arrangement of the pots. The under eye concealer is the best one I've ever used and the BFF serum & eye concealer is not just make up but a treatment for your skin. Hence the price tag. I've given away all my old powdery makeup to my daughter as all it did was settle into my fine lines and look more ageing. You really do only need a tiny amount of Trinny products so I imagine my little pots of eye2eye and lip2cheek will last years. Each to our own of course, but I have found my holy grail of makeup now. It makes me smile every morning I put my make up on and you can't ask for more than that.. 🥰

Thanks for going into the analytics of your channel! I'm mid-30s with disposable income. I do *not* mind splurging on product (hello my obsessions with Chanetcaille and Chanel cosmetics as well as higher end skincare). I *DO* very much appreciate when you compare it to other products on the market! There is a misconception of "luxury" or "higher end" that those products walk on water. Most of the time, we're just paying for packaging and marketing. While there are stand out products (or most of the time colours) it's refreshing to see someone who has used a wide amount of product to speak to if something is truly special or not.
@Khaleesi_Of_Kittens3 жыл бұрын
Some of the most expensive "luxury" products are just garbage! Specifically, eyeshadows from luxury brands can be really, really awful. Makes you wonder if the people formulating them have ever tried a good quality eyeshadow formula before. Sure doesn't seem like it.

The KZbin algorithm: Any time I search something or watch a particular video subject (Ex: caviar sticks) a bunch of other videos come up with the same title as suggestions on my home page. That’s probably how the Trinny team found you. They sound rabid, lol 🙃 Girl you do you on application preference. They must not realize what a talented MUA you are! 🌸 Btw I don’t normally watch ppl under 45 (I need someone who understands the struggle) but you are super special! Timeless, natural, classic and elegant. Allie too. *And* I never feel like you’re pushing products, plus clothes, jewelry, etc. You seem so honest, real and have a hella cool sense of humor. Hi I’m 44 and you have helped transform my make up routine. I have never been able to do eyeshadow and I now have a daily quick routine using the caviar sticks you recommended to use together in a previous video. I got very over excited when I realised it worked and bought 6 at once! The only thing I have to watch are the shimmer shades as can enhance ageing eyes which I very much want to avoid but I’ve found a very small amount is perfect. Thank you for saving me from my makeup rut!

Thank you for this. As a 63 year old woman from the UK, I struggle to find an objective opinion of the Trinny products. It’s the market Trinny has gone into that has pushed up her prices. She’s an individual, going into a luxury makeup market against the big boys and she is pretty much self financing so until she gets even 1% of their sales her profits are low. I love the whole concept though and think she has worked really hard and the colours are great. The BFF is amazing and lasts such a long time I think it’s ok that it’s $50 because you will use every drop. Anyway, I like that someone is taking the big company’s on and listening to the consumer x

Great video. The main problem I have with Trinny products is that when you constantly use your fingers to keep rubbing your face it will age you. No doubt about it, using brushes or sponges will give a better finish and prevent premature age symptoms. I know its designed for people on the go, take a stack in your bag, quickly apply a full face on the train or when you arrive at work and of course the idea was you don't need brushes. I've used a couple of products and the lip to cheek was very dry and the cream eyeshadows just fade and sit in wrinkles or dry patches. The cost is the next gripe. You can easily spend £250 and honestly you can get the equivalent finish and effect for around £60 and that was all I needed to know, to confirm I will not be buying anymore of these stacks. I love the honesty in your videos and am a new subscriber. Congrats on the new baby. X

I have oily eyelids and the eye2eye shadows are the absolute best base shadows. Whatever powder shadow I apply on top lasts all day without creasing! Which for me is a game changer. I only have two shades as I only use them as bases so just needed a warm neutral tone and a cool neutral. Such a good point about age groups and how they spend. 50+ may think - I can get all I need from one brand and it’s easy and looks good. Which may be true ... but if they shopped around they could get same/better quality for same/cheaper. A younger demographic may not be as brand loyal ... which is interesting to me. I’m middle of the group - I’m almost 45. I’m not brand loyal specifically but I also don’t really wanna try out a ton of products to ‘find the right one’.

Congratulations, Shelbey! Enjoy your time with your new little one! I am 44 (soon to be 45) years old and I have been following your work for years. (I sing your praises all the time, from my colleagues to strangers if they comment on my collection) and they comment on anything make up related Almost everything I own, be it high end or drugstore it is there because of your in-depth analysis and recommendations. One out of the many aspects I appreciate regarding your videos (which I watch religiously is the fact that you describe how the products give honest feedback along with any comparisons of similarity between two products. While I love some of these high-end products (Finally ordered today and got my hands on the hourglass illume Trio -now available on their site), my budget simply does not allow for it. So knowing your shades and descriptions of the drugstore products is extremely helpful. Question: could you tell me what color and brand it was the eyeliner that is so tight line in this video? Is it the urban decay gunmetal same? I really love everything about this look. Especially the eyes. What are your thoughts on a drugstore dupe for the biography or Trinity? I’ve tried some colorpop individual super shock shadows but they they have a lot of fall out. Used it with the elf magnetic pull (beautiful shade)5 no budge eyeshadow stick. It turned out lovely but I’m still trying to find the best glitter pigment that are more packed like the one you demonstrated today. Keep up the fantastic work! Looking forward to seeing you on the screen again soon!

I love my Trinny but agree about the Miracle Blur. It pills on me, too. But otherwise I love her stuff-great for my over-50 skin. 🙂

It all looks so good on you. Have to take a closer look at these products for sure. Thank you.

I find that Miracle Blur works better if I apply it under the BFF Destress.

Hi Shelby-love your videos. I’m going to say that in the Trinny videos I’ve seen with the miracle blur, it went on first as a primer, which makes more sense than putting on later. Maybe try that method?

I’m kind of late, but I want to introduce some relevant information and another point of view: I’m 23 and I still love this products. They actually perform like a dream, they actually enhance the skin without wiping out its features completely! The price point is high, yes, but this is skincare infused makeup! Her products actually contribute to better skin as supposed to other cheaper products that do the opposite.. Charlotte Tilbury does the same and nobody is questing her products. Hope this helped!

What am I doing wrong because eye2eye only lasts about 2 hours on me and then fades? Also, The match2me is a game changer and I love to colors I got. Just wished they lasted longer.

Some shades last longer on me than others - this is the same issue I have!

Ive tried this makeup and agree with you its expensive. I found its looks great when you apply it, but it dosnt have staying power.

I really enjoyed this video. I love the Trinny products. I have very similar coloring to you, and am wondering what eyeliner you used in this video?

That IT brush is one of my favorites. Use it for a lot of things. I prefer using a brush, too.

How long did it last? I have some of her products, I love them but they need reapplying more than once during the day. Am I doing something wrong? (Mature skin)

Hope you are adjusting well to motherhood! It is pronounced Guy-ah :)

Technically right. In greek it's actually pronounced more like jee-ah (yay-uh) depends though, some areas of greece say it like guy-uh too.

Great video! You didn't list the eyeliner in the grey/brown, perhaps you can share the info on it?.
@julietta6102 жыл бұрын
Trinny all the way- ❤️ it may be slightly more expensive but a little goes a really long way & match2me eliminates buying a product that doesn’t suit & wasting money.

I love TrinnyLondon, it’s just such a lovely range of skin enhancing products. I’m 50 and don’t mind the splurge! The only product I don’t really get on with is Miracle Blur, are you aware of an alternative that does the same thing (minimize the appearance of wrinkles/ scarring etc)? I think Clarins has something similar but never tried it. Thank you for doing a follow up to your first video!

You don't need miracle blur. It's mainly for those of us old gals with fine(deep) wrinkles. You would be better off trying the face finish. For dry or older skin it's amazing. Not everything is perfect for everyone. I wish it wasn't so expensive. Not so much the lip and cheek or eye colours because they are quite firm and last but the bff products are brilliant so wish there was more product for the price. I find the bff eye is a must even if I need to add extra for coverage. Original Bff makes my skin look amazing but hard to describe how. That and the new Bff De stress leaves my skin looking better at the end of the day

I appreciate your honesty with your reviews. I've been eyeing this brand, and i guess i can afford this brand, but i hate overspending on a product if there's a less expensive one i can buy for the SAME result. I've been roped into some hyped products in the past, and found myself saying, 'really? This isn't that exceptional in color/texture/application, (no matter the price) ugh'. There are other times, a product makes me say, 'whooa. Yup. Totally worth it!'

Yes - I totally understand that! Same for me.

I'm 32 but I think Trinny really appeal to a more mature generation who is not a makeup geek. The trends in makeup the last years, the heavy contouring and so on. Are not for women that just "want to look nice and put together". But I agree there are dupes that have the same effect.

thing is,I love her energy and sass...and with that said,she could sell anything...which is the main point....quality aside,its not highest quality brand nor is it supposed to be modern and extremely original...it is more-out of the pot,one second wipe it on makeup...don't get me wrong,Trinny is beautiful but had operations and don't really know what a more real,natural face can't and can wear...it works for her,but it won't work for many women....as much as one love dear youtubers like Trinny get a star reviews,products just don't do it for me...price?too much..way too much.....(btw.your review is one of the most satisfying,eloquent,proffesional I've ever seen on yt..you're gorgeous!)

The price point of some cosmetics is mind blowing. I used to wear Prescriptives custom blend when it was sold in stores, chantecaille is made by same company but the price point is sooo much more expensive. I love serum foundations these days and loved Armani (which bronzer is now discontinued). Seems my favorites always get discontinued.

I do want to put in an order for Trinity London. Thank you for show casing these products. I just saw Hung Vanngo show case these products on his channel, again. He is a big fan. They reached out to him. I think I may like these products on days that I am in a hurry. Your whole look is incredible. Chef’s 💋.
