I'm a straight white male, and this is my favorite movie of the year by far. The fact that people are dismissing it as a film for women or a feminist film because there are two ladies on the poster is ridiculous. This is a brilliant film for everyone.

@@ViceroyoftheDiptera to clarify why he thinks it's ridiculous that people are dismissing it as a solely feminist film. He was just trying to say that he thinks that a lot of people can like it despite sexuality or race.
@ViceroyoftheDiptera4 жыл бұрын
@@alexa3908 since when does 'feminist' mean 'for women'? People nowadays have completely warped the meaning of the word: it means supporting *equality* between men and women. If anyone *isn't* a feminist by that definition, they need to check a calendar to see what century they're living in. Regardless, it's a film about late teenagers having a blast at the end of their school years. This has nothing to do with sexuality or race, thus mentioning it is both weird and irrelevant.

The cast and director say that in equal measure it's an honour to be compared to such a great film but that "female Superbad" really limits the scope of what this film offers.
