I have no water supply where i'm at .. I'll need to reclaim my water supply. Is that a 2 inch casing? how far down is that? You ended up using a 1" pvc with a foot valve?

good video.. they re checking sand .. ya need granular sand so acts as a filter to not clog your well point screens,, my sand near nasa , fl. is super fine down to 30 feet fine as flour! terrible... today im going down to 50 feet .. i just started seeing it change to sugar like granular at 30 .. so well see...

Hydro Space we live in southwest Michigan and our water quality sucks. The well which was put inside a closet of a downstairs bedroom is the original. So 45 years old. Today we begin the process of trying to raise that sucker and put all new pipes point ect. What a big job

Hello major You make this job look very easy , lots of experience there I just jeted 37 ft well in south Florida ,it was bit more work using 3/4 hp electric pump. I dropped in sand point and check valve from HD to 37 ft , using 3/4 hp Everbuilt shallow well pump i have small water pressure and it surges a bit any idea what could cause it? Dominik Stach could be a few things. not enough screen (point) whats the water table ? i usally judge by what kinda material comes up. im allway looking for coarse sand, cohina, or beach sand. hope thats helpful. i dont really explain much in my video's sorry im doing one tomorrow. and ill post it tomorrow aswell. look for it. maybe it will help explain more. bout 5 pm. or call me tomorrow around 5. 9048883841. patrick. ill help if i can.

Actually your problem is that the maximum feet of head on a suction line is dependent on atmospheric pressure. The suction line actually doesn't suck at all. It is the weight of the air that pushing water up into the low pressure zone created in the eye of the impeller on any pump. At sea level that is about 14.7 psi, one psi will produce 2.31 feet of head. So to figure out the maximum depth a pump can draw on it's "suction" side we convert the psi into feet of head as such: 14.7psi x 2.31"= 33.957 feet of head.

Also don't put it at the maximum depth, you need to allow for variance due to weather.

Nothing personal but you are way better off using air instead of water and make a t for the top of the well pipe and feed your air line in the top till 10 foot from bottom and you will see what kind of water you got worked on wells for 25 years in NJ and thats how I do it
