Well log QAC and Rock Physics Modelling in RokDoc

In this presentation by Ana Somoza we discuss the borehole environment and its effect on the logs’ measurements, such as caving, drill-bit whirl, and mud filtrate invasion. We identify different issues in the well data by using real data sets. We explain how to do a single and a multi-well analysis to identify washouts, gaps and anomalous values in the logs. Then, Rock Physics Modelling is used to correct these issues and to model missing data. At the end, we will have a full suite of logs ready to use, for example, in a Rock Physics Analysis.
