You have no idea how excited I am that you play airsoft. I've been doing airsoft for about 13 years now, and I got so excited when I saw you doing a video on the subject. On a related note, a word of advice: its generally a good idea to unplug your lipos from your gun when you are not using them. It is especially important that you do so if you have a unit like the Titan II you have installed, because when the Titan II is plugged in, it is always pulling just a little bit of power, and if it stays plugged in for too long, it can kill your lipo, even if the Titan cuts off your battery.

I knew this would happen right from the start. Building airsoft guns is a Talent that some never can do. I used to struggle so bad with v2 boxes to the point I didnt want to ever touch them again after failing so many times..... What I found is some have the Quick change spring and that one thing solves Most of the issues I would have trying to close the box up with that insane spring trying to explode the box.... If you can build this thing and it works awesome i would be IMPRESSED. My buddy wanted to upgrade his G&G Combat machine and I told him DO NOT open the box dont do it man im not fixing it for you.... He said im not dumb ill figure it out... I said IM NOT DUMB and its not a matter of being dumb its a matter of knowing how it all works. Imagine trying to build a combustion motor and not having any idea how to time it correctly or where to set the cam shafts... Its not something you can just do and hope it works......

Factory it's 380fps, 22 BB's per second, 6.05mm semi tight bore barrel, 120round mid caps and has a trigger contact upgrade so can withstand an 11.1v better. Trigger response is great too. Only slapped on a holo sight for the time being but might look at some upgrades if/whenever the factory parts wear out. Currently got my eyes on Tokyo Marui Glock AEP for my secondary, which with an 100 round extended mag on full auto looks like a riot.

I haven't really gotten into airsoft, yet, but I am into real firearms. Just want to say thanks for using the correct terminology for that muzzle device. It's purpose on a real firearm is to suppress the sound AND flash when you fire the weapon. In combat, this is really important. Not only will it make it harder to hear where your shot came from, but it will be harder for the enemy to see the fireball coming out of the end of your barrel making it harder to visually see where your shot came from.

Perun Hybrid V2 doesn't work in KWA stuff. Yes, you can mod to work it but it's not worth it. Titan II works but one of the sector sensors must be turned off. Problem is the spacing KWA uses between the trigger and the sector gear. It's too far from the gear meaning the cam sensor can't do it's work since it can't see the cam that's on the sector. Also try T238 brushless motor. Drains the battery 2x less and gives you much better trigger response (and higher rof).

Lol, this brought back so many memories. Airsoft was my gateway into firearms. I remember buying my first AEG from Airsplat and immediately tearing it apart to upgrade it almost 2 decades ago.... Back then, Evike was considered the shady airsoft company, it's nice to see that early internet talk didn't keep them from growing. I am temporarily living in Japan and was thinking of getting back into it.

The irony is that Airsplat was kind of shady back then too! Pretty much all of them were!

I do techwork in Australia for Gel Blasters (airsoft is illegal) and using an iFixit driver to knock out the receiver pin is 100% the correct way to do that

Bro this is awesome.. growing up I always thought that Airsoft was cringe and weird.. then I lived in Japan for 4 years and absolutely caught the bug and got my hands on some Tokyo Marui stuff. Love it man!

Id like to get into airsoft, unfortunately there isn't much in my area for airsoft fields etc. But even just target plinking would be fun. Im Canadian, handguns and a lot of AR style guns are banned so an airsoft version would have to do.

We used to have a pretty decent Airsoft community here in my BFE town in Montana. Probably 40 or so of us who played. Then, the field closed a few years back and everyone just sorta stopped playing. Make me sad too since it's like a three hour drive to find anyone to play with now :(

ayyyy Bitwit is in airsoft now! Hell yeah. Also, yeah... KWA is proprietary in some places. Their gearboxes are designed to work with Gate Titans and Gate Titans only in terms of ETUs. This is occasionally talked about in some of the promotional videos, but if you scroll through the reddit, it's pretty common knowledge. Really sorry to see you get trapped by that. The Hybrid is really a good choice otherwise though. It has all the functional features of more expensive mosfets and one of the best trigger sensors out there. The Titan just adds the convenience of the smart control and diagnostic data.

Would recommend using joules to measure energy. The reason is you can have a toy shoot at 400fps but if theyre reaching that fps with 0.32 bbs, the energy it will have is 2.38 joules. a lot of energy and can be danagerous. Chronograph is good to have when building stuff like this. Have fun and be safe!
@Whiskey11Gaming

Except that no field measures in joules... always in FPS. Joule creep is a serious issue which fields are finally starting to account for... nearly two DECADES after the first Airsoft Mechanics post pointing out the issue with safety.... God I miss the AM forums...

Use to be into Airsoft. Played at SC Viper the most, even have some videos from running around out there on my other channel. Still have my Umarex MP5 I got from an Evike sale a long time ago and even went to a Evike Bone Yard sale event and picked up a really cool 1911 gas pistol to run around with as my sidearm. Good times.

Keep it up, your video was informative and fun to watch, better than some of the other airsoft tubers.

wow I'm proud bc I've been working on airsoft guns for a while now and most people don't want to work on aeg guns because they are very difficult next you should build sort of polarstar gun like a jack or an f2.
