I got mine a couple days ago and while it’ll be a couple months before the weather allows for my driveway woodworking, I test fitted on my Dewalt saw. I took off the “T” track wedges on the tool and put on the wedge bar supplied for non “T” track saws such as mine. I was using the Rockler thin rip guide for several years and while it was adequate, it was a bit of a pain bc one knob both locked down the jig and adjusted the bearing distance for the workpiece. You have to make a lot of effort to cinch down the jig. The “going make” jig in contrast had too knobs to lock down the jig in the miter slot and one thumb screw to adjust the bearing distance. I’m pretty certain I’m going to prefer this way. The Rockler jig bearing will roll back and forth-which so like as I use that to visually make sure the tightness of the fence is right, whereas the “going make” bearing rolls in only one direction. I guess I’ll have to get used to that. The scales-both imperial and metric-are nice on the “going make” jig. I’m pretty sure I’m going to like my new jig when I start using it. $30 w free shipping seems like a pretty good deal to me for a tool that feels pretty well built. If this isn’t (unexpectedly) the case I’ll come back her and comment in a few months.

You are a true trooper to work outdoors. I am lucky enought to have a very long if not wide garage and have installed a 240v heater so I can bring up the temp to a tleast 70ish. I am glad you found my review/demo useful. Stay tuned for more content.
