It's so Awesome to hear someone your age respond to this song with an understanding of what Adam's message was. I'm a 49yr old ex-military Spec Ops white dude. I Never have and Never will have a racist bone in my body. So many people have labeled this man as a racist it's pathetic. He's been on the rap scene for about the last 8yrs or so. He's from south side Chicago but spent his summers growing up with his grandpa and other family in Kentucky. So he was labeled as a Country Rapper. He and Ryan Upchurch are best friends. I don't know if you have heard of him but those two were cut from the same cloth. Good honest men who aren't afraid to speak their mind and tell the truth. Even when it's not in their best interest, they will always keep things real, sometimes brutally real. But Acal has that OG 90's kind of flow, but when he wants to his flow and cadence changes can be crazy. I'm really glad I found your channel brother. You definitely have a new subscriber!

Im going to be 43 this year and grew up listening to everything but country music. Mostly rock and rap. I can't stand mumble rap, and most stuff coming out today is just a formula with little meaningful content. Rap at its roots was the art of storytelling. It shined a light on subjects that would not be covered otherwise. Love all of these artists I have found online that continue the legacy of what rap is at its core. It’s about his grandfather and is amazing storytelling.
