Seeing the CS bob and dive back in that glass was my "Oh that was real" moment. I knew what I saw because it was so human, and the fuck up is easy to relate to if you are A: The least bit honest with yourself and B: Geared a certain way/into training/hunting/preparedness. The MOMENT he KNEW he saw what he thought he saw, he dove back in and started squeezing rounds. I ain't gonna backseat quarterback anyone's performance that day, it's already been said. Only thing that I think is questionable about what you said is that we don't know what he was looking at through the glass and if he was on target yet. His sector of fire might have been in that direction but not on target yet. Remember the shooter was on the backslope of the metal roof that was no doubt throwing a reflection and heat mirrage to the scope while the SSsniper is shooting at a head sized target ~130m away. As a Marine Vet, sure I understand it's still a simple shot for the SSsniper but I also understand there are multiple things going on too like narrowing in on a target thats relativly close on a 25x scope, you're probably going to come off glass to gain a shot picture in order to narrow into the target .
