My husband makes rolls from memory. If I have him write it out, what would be the best paper, pen etc to use in order to make editing easier? Thank you...very very explained!

i would have him write it down on a piece of printer paper so that you dont have to deal with the lines on the paper and use a black marker.

I'm sorry! It may be a different app, or it could be that the app was changed. I think I originally did this video 2 years ago. Tech changes. But I'll definitely check into this to see and do an updated video if I need to! Thanks for letting me know.

What an incredible video! I've been using magic eraser but missed a lot of potential by not using the color and lighting editing tools built into the Photos app on my phone! Thank you so so much!! I'm gonna be using this to make a t-shirt out of the writing from an old manuscript!

Oh, I’m so glad this helped. The photo editing on phones is insanely good now! And perfect that you’ve already used magic eraser!

Do you have a mouse for your ipad? I have to touch my screen and my fingers are too big to clean up the fine details.

Great question! I don’t- that’s one of the things I like about the Magic Eraser- I can zoom in so close that I can really get in. You can also change the shape of the tool from round to triangle or square. That’s helpful too I think. However, you could probably use a cheap stylus.

Hi! I saw your thanks but not the question about the cursor. I think I was doing a recording of just my screen . Then it would have looked like I wasn’t using anything but I was. Movie magic. 😂 ❤️

From the Apple App Store. But Google Play has it too.

I feel like it would be faster to just trace it in procreate with a textured brush. You'd have a lot more control and options.

Yes! Maybe- but if you’re trying to keep the nuances of the original handwriting then it's easier for them to get lost when you’re going over the original writing. That's what I like about the tools in this app. You can play with the opacity and both remove and add. That being said- I LOVE.procreate and I did play around with using it to remove backgrounds (using the automatic selection). And it worked well for some simpler recipes! I would recommend using a rough ink pen brush maybe as the brush and the eraser in that case.
