Beautiful!. The one upgrade I can see, I'd glue green pool table felt on the inside walls of the glasses holders, and maybe the inside of the bottle shelf, too, to avoid scratches to the glasses, and to give a bit of cushion in case of impact.

If you cherish your eyebrows (or eyes and hands, for that sake), never use an angle grinder on a (used) gas can: It can blow up in your face! Not even washing with soap and water will help: Only cleaning with a steamer (pressure washer with heated water) will get rid of the very dangerous residual gasoline. Remember: A lot of gasoline is flammable. A little (vaporized) gasoline is explosive!

Tip for the coke, behind if there is enough room to do a small access hatch and place a small freezer pack and some holes in the plywood for ventilation and boom! nice cold coke if you are transporting the Jerry can.

Awesome. I did mine in similiar fashion,i just covered inside with red cloth and i made little compartment where handle goes. I also put some styrofoam as insulation on the back and it also secures shelf better so it doesnt rattle. I have replaced one glass with travel humidor,so i can keep cigars in there. Also added led strip powered by 3S3P 18650 batteries and i am about to find a way to charge them. (They shine only when doors are open,i wired a reed switch near the hinges) I also tought about adding a simple bluetooth speaker inside, along with powerbank. The can now weights around 6 kg,so i find it reasonable to carry max 10 kg.

@@thedriveasmr4125 I dare you to find even a Chinese knock-off Jerry Can with that type of spout for $20... LOL! Please post a link, if you do. While I do agree that a person should be reasonably handy, some people simply don't possess that kind of skill without injuring themselves in the process of attempting such a project... and I'd be the very last one to ever criticize someone for knowing and staying within their limitations.

great video and awesome idea only thing id suggest is doing the varnish before you assembled it because in my experience at 5:17 if you get any glue anywhere else other than where it will sit. the varnish wont set right on that part of the wood if that makes sense. it will be a slightly different color because of the glue even if you wipe it off some residue will sit and varnish wont sit well on it although i didnt see that happen here just a tip for beginners Edit: and it helps so you dont have to dig your hand in the tight corners if it was a different project that had tighter spaces
