I have one WR2, and I have 35 years of experience in the electronic repair sector, I have always wanted the best for my job, because reliable and functional equipment makes you work faster and better, reducing losses and increasing earnings , I use the wr2 with the wsp80 soldering stylus, and the dsx80 desoldering stylus, total crap, the WR station itself is done very well, but the tools are a real mess, in 7 years I completely replaced the desoldering stylus 4 times , dsx80 (the internal temperature sensor fails and the stylus is to be thrown away) at the modest sum of 230 euros each, an infinity of wsp80 tip stopper tubes, not counting the hundreds of tips for both tools, at a price that is not worth what they cost, with the painful rohs tin with which you are forced to work, you have to have the stations at 450 ° C, and this station IS NOT MADE TO WORK WITH THE LEAD FREE SOLDER. ah ... I forgot, the dsx 80 advertises so much the quick attack of the tip, well, that kind of crap is stripped the thread very easily, and the tips? they come off the tool and you find them in the bottom of the tool holder, to be thrown away, congratulations Weller, a real equipment for professionals, I'm really sorry, because weller was a guarantee, instead even the -weller is not what it once was, so, never again weller.

@@barreokes8179 I switched from Weller to Pace, the quality is definitely better, even if the cost of the tips is equal if not higher than Weller, perhaps another alternative that I haven't tried yet could be JBC.. 🤔
