@@adamsaffron6721 Physically, "rasp" is when a voice produces two or more notes at once, so it's exponentially more difficult to control, and basically impossible to imitate. It's why they can re-cast Morty pretty seamlessly, but nobody's Rick Sanchez is going to sound like Justin Roiland's Rick Sanchez. One way to make rasp is to think about setting up your breath support for a slightly lower and louder note than whatever note your vocal cords are trying to make. There are other ways, and some folks can do it the opposite way around and get rasp. Jesse Welles might actually be one of those folks.

Only one thing missing . Galloping double bass kicks on the down beat like The Rev from A7X . Simplicity goes a long way - just , a little something I miss in the world ; not like the new guy trying too hard if that makes sense . He did some kind of triplet snare thing that was so perfect & so heavy . Two kicks and a snare . Then a triplet after . Maybe even another snare inbetween but it was never too much extra or distractive
