Belated welcome to Chicago. This city is a broken shadow of its former self, but there’s still plenty of cool stuff to find. Hope you found some of it. I just listened to a bunch of your most recently-posted songs and they’re incredible. For about ten years now I’ve wondered where the musical counter-culture is to all these things that the TV says we should all be animated against. It struck me as odd that the 60s and 70s had so many incredible anti-war songs popular enough for the radio whereas we haven’t seen one in the last ten years. I’m pumped to see you picking up the torch. I’m sure countless fools have taken a stab at some anti-trump anthem but they don’t resonate because trump is not the cause of our problems. He’s a symptom of them. You’re calling out a bigger picture and that’s what makes your message real
