I mean just wow. For anyone who thinks the a-league isint quality football I mean look at this. These goals were all just clutch finishes. As a phoenix supporter big ups to Perth for a massive game. To be fair they probably deserved a draw but it always had a feeling that there would be a winner somewhere. But in all seriousness the quality of some of that passing was honestly next level. You would not think the difference on the table. Both teams had quality everywhere. I'm just impressed that the Phoenix seem to have this cool calmness about them. They don't go crazy searching for goals. That last goal by Wellington was inch perfect pass, pass, finish. Absolutely amazing. This whole weekend of football has been lit

While I am thrilled the Nix won, and that they have a steely resolve about them to not lose, their defence still has a naïveté about it. But I am sure will improve if they retain the same players and coach. In the past even with Uffie, the Nix would have folded after the opposition equalised. And maybe even struggled to equalise themselves.

half the defense is made of youth players, they are prone to mistakes but the team works well to cover them. We would buy more exp players but i think the club is doing a good job of training the future player base for club and country. By the end of the season these players will have a wealth of exp, young and fit with lots of time to improve even more.

um. Have a look at our Goals Against tally. 3rd best in the league so far. Defence has been for the most part solid as a solid thing this season. This is a great squad full of youngsters so it will develop more over the season and hopefully into the next. Brilliant work by the club, academy, Chief and the owners. PTID!
