Another stat people are sleeping on with SW is break effect, she's an insanely good breaker and breaking the enemy with quantem is insanely strong especially with SW since def reduction increases break effect dmg. My recommended stats for SW is EHR/Crit/Spd (just enough to reach the threshold), and Break effect. She already gets a lot of atk% from traces so atk% actually isn't amazing stat for her.

i strongly recommend using Silver Wolf in a team with only two elements, so she can only apply two types of weaknesses. also using an Quantum dps and an other element dps is one of the best options in this teams

Moga, you might want to switch tigyun with Clara in your two future teams, with sliver wolf it's harder to apply the element you want with varying character elements, and with her you pretty much always have to adjust your teams based on if your enemy are or aren't weak to a certain elements, I always recommended running silver wolf with 1 quantum DPS, 1 DPS that is the same element as your shielder or healer, so basically you wouldn't want 3 or more differing elements on your team

Got super lucky and got her at just 45 wishes and won 50/50! Really happy, she will replace Welt on my team (Seele, Tingyun, Natasha), just need to farm resources for her, while also getting close to rank 60. So that's whole another level of resources needed for everyone.

I am running Silver Wolf with Seele because they are both quantum, then running two of a single element to have a 50/50 for weakness implant. I plan to use the two new characters if I get them in next banner, but in the meantime, I'm running Clara and Natasha. I don't think it is a great idea to run 4 different elements no matter how good the individual characters are, though

I think it can be situationally viable as long as the extra characters have corresponding elements to the enemy's weakness. But then again I think its better to form teams that will guarantee a single element debuff if possible.

In my best team which will soon be Geppy, Pela, SW and Yanqing. Pela has a trace which gives her teammates like 10% EHR that paired with her 4 star lightcone, traces and Rope/Sphere 2 piece for EHR allows her to run a crit body which I personally have found worth it considering her multipliers. By max trace level I'll have around 90% chance to apply weakness with her skill and that's more than enough for me.

@@starbright4953 That makes zero sense. If the enemy do not have both quantum and ice weakness. Then it's a 50/50 that she will land either ice or quantum weakness, with the team mentioned. If you add a physical unit for example, meaning your team now has ice, quantum and physical. And the enemy do not have weakness for any. Than your chance of landing ice weakness would go down to 1/3 (33.3%).

@@heavenlykarisma Add to that, that even if the enemy has neither of those weaknesses initially, Quantum is one of the best elements to break enemies and Silver Wolf is a great breaker. There is basically no scenario where this is bad :D

I wouldn't mind spending some $ but If I can get her at 50-60 or hard pity 80 then I'll be happy especially if I get her before 80 pity but if the soft pity 50-60 nets me a good standard five star I'll be happy

I got her on the second pull. RNG favor after failing to get the seele. My approach has been to farm the quantum armor that boosts quantum by 10% and yeah, focusing on effect hit rate and break effect is wise...but DPS stats like attack and crit should not be ignored. Fortunately my mix is solid and because she can implant weakness, it lets me use my strongest chars even in situations where they'd normally not be useful due to no weaknesses on the enemies. I think with her on your team, you should limit your types to two, meaning don't have more than quantum and one other element type. That will guarantee that your strongest char's type or quantum is always the debuff. For clara, a good stat besides DPS buffs and some defense is energy regen. As long as you can maintain uptime on her ultimate, you will be blasting away at massive damage buff even on enemies that are not weak to physical.

Not sure if your team with Clara in it is set, but I would reccomend putting her to one or the other side as she aggros attacks and aoe attacks will only hit 2 people rather than 3 if she is on the side

Defense shred stacks additively, so yeah they do stack, amazingly so, 41.6% DefShred + 6.5DefShred = 48.1%Def Break, Pela + Silverwolf can almost remove 100% DEF, with an S5 Pearls of sweat I am pretty sure it goes over the threshhold

Just an FYI so you know if an enemy is naturally weak to an element like lightening they will already be week to that element by 20%, when silverwolf plants a new weakness to them the 20% she adds is to make it so the new weakness she adds is the same % weakness as if the enemy was naturally weak to it

That's, uhh, literally Silverwolf's E6. You say it would be crazy, and it is, so it's whales only. Its shown in the video for a split second at 2:10 . At E6 she gets 20% increased DMG per debuff on the target enemy, up to max 100%. According to Prydwen's damage simulations, an E6 Silverwolf outdamages an E6 Seele, assuming her debuffs land.

She's great for free to play, forget the def reduction, the main star of her kit is being able to add weakness to enemies. If you're free to play and won't have loads of characters, then she's good.

8:48 I know this isnt really about the video, but where you place your characters in the party matter in star rail unlike in genshin since its a turn base game. The first and forth slot has the most agro, the enemys are more likely to attack that character. So its better to put your tank in the first slot. Like you can put Clara, Jin Yuan, Silver Wolf, and Bailu.

But yes, the placing of character does indeed matter because AOE attacks have more chance to land on the characters in the middle slots (2-3), and also you want some characters like Yanqing to be far away from your taunt/tank so he would take less hits because he loses his buffs when he gets hit

character placement does matter but the aggro is based on the paths, not placement. Highest to lowest aggro would be something like preservation > destruction > abundance/hunt/nihility > erudition/harmony. Placement matters for the reason stated by the other reply here. But apparently this doesn't matter on Tingyun because no matter where I put her, 4 out of 5 enemies will still attack her despite having both fmc and gepard for some reason. (Srsly tho, why?)

No, the best would be SW, ting yun, bailu and Jing Yuan. If enemy has any of those 2 element then you can implement the other element at 100%. This team can basically do all content without any issue, so 1 team for all.

Silver Woof is amazing. I wasn't gonna pull but I got her on 2nd multi. The free light cone and set she gets are so good for free stuff. This game is so great. It's my fourth day playing. I'm running welt bailu SW and MC. If I get Kafka I'll replace MC with her. I couldn't be happier with my pulls this far. I'm building welt with crit and with her debuffs those two work SO well together. He's literally dps at this point lol.

@@sev559 I did my own calcs. Didn't use another calc or site. With my relic pieces E0 SW does 70% of E0 Seele DPS. At E6 she does 40% more than E0 Seele. Ofc if E6 Seele is done right she would do double damage than she does at E0. This is per hit as well, so it neglects speed. Seele does way more if we count speed as well esp after E2.

If it's like Genshin, then some of the strongest characters are still the original ones. They arguably have reverse power creep on some new units.

They release strong and universal units early on so people get to build more teams. When all the roles all filled out they will start to release more niche characters that are good at 1 specific thing. The reason is that there is a limited number of kits they can release without copying the same thing and if they released a very niche unit at the very start this character would weak without any team to fit in.

silver wolf is almost like a kazuha level sub dps/support. mine personally has around 80% effect hit rate and can still hit about 30k ults. shes pretty damn good!

In case people still dont know, Hoyo nerfed the effect resistance of higher level enemies. Im not sure by how much, but surely Silver Wolf wouldn't need that crazy amount of Effect hit rate?

I think a better team 1 with your characters would be Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Bailu, and Silver Wolf. That way you are hitting the lightning weakness 75% of the time or 100% of the time if they already have quantum weakness.
