Part 2 complete. Congrats on building the Seamoth! Welcome to what I would call the mid-game, where oxygen becomes far less of a concern. You're making good progress so far! For your base, a bioreactor isn't really needed when in the shallow waters, just adding on more solar panels will do the job just fine, but if you'd rather not have to hunt down the quartz and copper for it, then the bioreactor is a relatively low-maintenance option. Just have to remember to toss more biomass into it every so often. For a tip, I suggest going back to the turret island and doing a bit more exploring. There's more things to find there that are very useful! Just make sure you take one of those green ion cubes with you. :) One other more general tip I suggest, making salted food is well worth the minor hydration loss. It doesn't decay and water is easy to replenish without much effort. And don't be afraid to explore new zones! Part of your tech progression relies on it. The prerecorded messages will give you clues for new zones, but there are some things you need to find by exploring on your own. Just pay attention to the things your PDA assistant says when entering new areas, sometimes she gives you little clues too. Building a scanner station can be a big help too! The range is kind of limited, but it's really easy to assemble and disassemble them on the go.

The amount that she got so close to scanning a seamoth fragment and then got distracted and forgot hurts my soul.

Some tips for ya Zayni, in the Databank you can play the audio from other survivors while doing other stuff like catching fish, it's a good way to hear some of the story. There's actually a lot of important info in some of the data entries, it can help a lot if you are lost as to where to go next. When you first started the game it even said to go to the Databank to see what to do, there was an entry called Survival Package towards the bottom that gave you a basic rundown of what to do to survive. Also, those beacon areas are usually pretty important to learn more story and obtain more recipe's. The escape pods almost always have something inside and outside. Big wrecks are great for scannable recipe's, usually lots of stuff to find inside and outside. Maybe re-look into your bleached water recipe, those poor blubs are gonna be hunted to death. ;-)

SO GLAD YOU DID A PART 2! I love seeing genuine streamer reactions to subnautica, and you are definitely no exception. Great job and keep it up!

I know this is your first playthrough and you have no clue what you're doing but I'd repeat the same moto I was given- TRY EVERYTHING! Funny thing about that is you've already done at least 1 thing I haven't ever done! I've never ever thrown out rotten fish on land- watching that hoverfish skating around was amazing 🤣 But yeah, the first playthrough is all about learning and trying a bunch of things to see what you like. You're doing well already, even if you're scared! Looking forward to watching number 3 tomorrow ♥

So, I watched all of part 1, and I couldn't think of who you reminded me of. I finally figured it out. Your personality is so much like Nora Valkyrie from RWBY. I love it!

3:48:50 because the caveats to this kind of game is that it's not the big fellas that would kill you mostly, it's the lil bois that will kill you (like crashfish for one) Sure, them big fellas can kill you, but you're gonna have a hard time mostly with the lil ones. So try and stay collected when you see big sharks or something ahead but don't try to be brave too much

in settings you can set it to pause when you have HUD open . this way you can read messages, check inventory and read chat without drowning

Yup, it’s located in the escape menu or if you’re on the main menu title screen go to options > accessories > pda pause ✅

Zaynii :D you ''scout'' destroyed life pod, pick up some message from dead guy (thats the least important) and fly the heck out missing all the important upgrades xDD ;_; Would love to catch you live so you can get useful tip for once lol

I know bahaha it's so bad 😂Whenever I find somewhere important, I end up having to ditch straight away to get air, water or food and then forget where the entry/wreck is again 😅 Hopefully I'll eventually get better at thoroughly looking through wreckage haha

@@ZayniPop_ You can turn on the signal again for lifepods you've been to already in the signal tab of your PDA if you need to find them again. Can't help with forgetting where the wrecks are though. XD

So one thing i see you do is get off track A LOT. Maybe you should start doing a system where you focus on one thing at a time, just to not get off track😅

Quick recommendation go to the other big cloud group at the south ish of the aurora aka the motors side and get something call melon marble seeds and make a base also go on the surface to that place down is scarry Also build a base there you can store more stuff also in the mushroom biome is a wreck where you may find a batery charger In the red grass biome there are seamooth parts on tge floor and also crates with laser cutters
