Welsh Lake [How to get to Welsh Lake] Lower Welsh Lake | Welsh Lakes

Welsh lakes consists of three lakes on a located in the Kootenays. The road to the trailhead is very rough specially the last 5 kilometers up to the Trailhead. Welsh lake is a gorgeous lake that features turquoise glacial waters with a rocky mountain backdrop which makes the the whole scenery breathtaking. The trail to the lower Welsh lake is moderate and just gets steeper through the boulder field and rubbles pass 3 kilometers and up to the lake, The view along the the trails are breathtaking.

Yes my friend...ypu need 4x4 only the last 5K the rest of FSR is nice....the hike us moderate...there are 3 lakes actually like Jeoffrey lake but we don't have time to hike all 3.😀 We started late that's why.😀🙏
