All you folks who are wondering about HC - don't worry, I'm working on it. The thing is, I can make ten House Flipper (or MC Build Tips, or whatever) videos in the time it takes me to make one HC episode. If all goes according to plan, from here on out you'll see "side" or "filler" videos between HC episodes, but HC hasn't gone away. I know I haven't been super consistent over the last couple months, but I've been dealing with some IRL stuff. I'm trying to get back on track, but I want to make sure that when the next Hermitcraft episode DOES come out, it's worth the wait, rather than something I just threw together in a day. I'm a bit late commenting, but I just wanted to say that I love your videos a whole lot. I'm not really an 'OG' fan (I started watching you when you started Hermitcraft Season 7) but the videos I have watched make me very very happy. Your style and your voice are so calming, your sense of humor is awesome, and your Minecraft building style is so beautiful. I think you're very awesome for continuing to make videos even if your life is crazy, and even when people are weird for no reason. And as a sidenote, one of my favorite things is when primarily-Minecraft creators make fun little videos about random little games just because they enjoy it. A friend of mine loves this game. It helps her unwind at the end of the day. I will probably get this mor my Switch. Parquet flooring looks different. It's so pretty! Not often done in newer homes because it's rather intricate. I think what you placed is just laminate flooring.

Hey Wels, I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say "I don't really care what you put out so long as its something you're proud of" If you had asked me if I would watch a video of a house flipping game, I probably would've said no, but I can tell you enjoy it, and the creators enjoyment vastly increases the quality of the video. So please, do what makes you happy and upload videos you can be proud of. I dont really care too much what it is, I would just like to see more of you And I'm sorry to hear about the IRL stuff. I love this game. It's a lot of fun. Gives you the same satisfaction as watching renovation shows but you get to make the decisions. So satisfying. Plus now they have a vr version. Keep up the great videos. Loved this one

You likely won't care (especially not a year later, *snicker*), but my favourite thing about watching people play building games (MInecraft as well) is to observe their creative process. And you share very little of that, you just present before and after and talk a tiny bit about what goes through your mind before ("bathroom too large for the house size"). That's my major complaint about Hermitcaft as well; all the really creative work from most of the Hermits goes on behind the scenes, in a creative world. I fully understand why it's not happening on the actual server in survival (*ugh*, designing in survival is hell). But I want to see it! I don't care where it happens. And in this game there are no hostile creatures to disrupt your gameplay, it's all calm and there's no time pressure either, so why not? You might think it's boring, but I can guarantee you that for a large percentage of viewers it's where the meat is. Heck, people even want to see the actual cleanup (I don't personally care about that because it's not creative).

I actually renovate houses IRL. Believe me, I’ve seen worse bathrooms. With one I had to tear out three floors in the same bathroom. Some mad lad had put laminate, over tile (no mortar, just grout), over laminate.

Houseflipper is fun. I've played right through to when the flamethrower got added, so there's lots of new content for me to explore. I should get back into it. Maybe post a video (I'm still learning editing, and have no camera or microphone, so my content is kind of weak rn). I love the living room in your flipped house: a wealthy living room in a lower income house. Very nice example of doing the best with what you have. Also, the total cost was around $40,700 ($52,765 - $12,062) so your profit ratio was around 2/7 (much higher than the 1/10 that is minimally acceptable).
