PUTIN'S WAR: Trump wants a Russian deal! “How is that supposed to work?” Ukraine under pressure!
A planned visit by US President Donald Trump's designated Ukraine representative, former General Keith Kellogg, was canceled on Tuesday. According to the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrij Sybiha, the visit should be rescheduled. The meeting is “extremely important,” Sybiha announced on Tuesday in the Ukrainian capital. “I am confident that this meeting will take place in due course,” he said.
Trump's inauguration at the end of January brings uncertainty about how the war in Ukraine, which has been going on for almost three years, could develop. Ukraine relies on military support from the West - and the US in particular. After Trump's election victory in November, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky praised Trump's “strength” and said that Ukraine could benefit from the future American president's “unpredictability”.
