Wendy and her family seem to be in on this. They know that exposing the guardianship and how awful it is, there is a possibility that they could have it removed in 2024, when it is due to be renewed. Without the documentary, no one would have known how bad it is. It was strategic to leave the part about the family to show how she does substantially better when she is with them. In my opinion, this was all part of a bigger plan to remove the guardianship. Also, if I’m looking at this objectively when young Kevin was taking care of her, she did look better. I’m in favor of the family taking over the guardianship position, or just removing it. A lot of the issues we saw with Wendy were alcohol induced, which is why young Kevin did not want her drinking.

The documentary didn't make me look at Wendy w any negative feelings. I wanted to hug her 😞 Charlamagne & all of them need to hush because they watched that movie of Jeffery D when the family of the victims asked it to not be aired. They also listen and promote music that show black ppl in a bad light - whores, drug users, etc. They support Zeus. But got a problem w Wendy's family wanting to show the real image of guardianship & Wendy's struggles??? I see no one petitioning to remove hoarders & any other documentary that is similar of families sharing their loved ones struggling w addiction and or dementia. Ooohh I guess because it's Wendy/a celebrity who is supposed to always look perfect w no problems, it's a double standard

Exactly I haven’t seen one person who have watched the all thing and said it was a bad idea. When it comes to save a person’s life who cares if it can damage their image especially since a lot of pictures and stories were already circulating around Wendy but no one knew what was really going on, I think people will have more sympathy and understanding in regards of her situation. Her family needs to take care of her and the organization in charge of her conservatorship needs to be removed, that documentary proved it with no doubt.

Wendy needs better people around her, too many enablers and people looking out for their own interests. Look at Bruce Willis, he’s currently going through the same thing that Wendy is going through. But his family got his back, they’re protecting his image and legacy and they still occasionally update the fans about how he’s doing without exploiting him. Wendy needs good people in her corner.

His family are also his guardians tho… That’s the difference. I believe Wendy’s family only went through with putting this documentary out as a desperate attempt to expose the guardianship and people in her circle that are allowing her to continue drinking and enabling her destructive behaviors and poor health. She does seem happier and healthier with her family, and they don’t allow her to drink. Her guardianship doesn’t allow her family to stay in contact with Wendy that often, so a lot of the time, they don’t even know her whereabouts and what’s going on with her, unless Wendy is able and has access to eventually contact them on her own. Hopefully the court will watch the documentary and see that Wendy seems to do better with her family and isn’t protected under her current guardianship.

Wendy has Aphasia, which significantly impacts a person ability to speak. It is not reversible and is a reflection of deterioration in the frontal lobe. On top of that she has dementia. She is likely doing well considering her diagnosis and age. To say you won’t believe she’s doing well until you hear her ‘talking about this’ is ableist and not considerate of her degenerative and cognitive conditions. She needs our understanding and support❤ Ignorant speculations can be not only harmful to her but others like her who have to live with mentally divergent traits in neurotypically accommodating society.
