That Halloween fall, I believe Wendy had a stroke. Kevin talked about this he said they didn't even want to call an ambulance for Wendy.After that fall she was never the same I used to watch her show everyday. So I seen the change in her speech.

Mercy, mercy. My mom just had a stroke and her speech is not the same. She is able to stand and use her limbs. Some of my family is pressing her to get and go but she needs time to regain function. Its not a snap of the finger thing. I believe for Wendy she is taking her time to improve her health before returning to her career.

Everyone needs to have medical instructions written out for close family members in case they have a stroke. Strokes can leave you reduced to an infant again, no speech, diapers etc... Everyone needs to express their wishes in writing in case that happens.

When you are a celebrity, artist, athlete or high profile then you’re up for public scrutinization. Clearly, there have been gossip columnists, TV entertainment news and many others who have made careers in the gossip scene. There were times I gauged until I cried, other times I thought she was callous or inappropriate. Her show was entertaining, I went to NYC to see her live show and we had a fantastic time. This is a very challenging time and I hope she is in loving care.

Because she didn’t have control over her life and going through a divorce. Her son was spending large amounts of money while she was in Florida. So the bank flagged this as a concern. Given she has millions they definitely will protect her assets.

Personal guardians are in charge of things like medical choices and her living location, and usually go to family. The financial guardians are professional business firms. They are the ones who should disburse money for her upkeep and give annual audits to the court.

The niece clearly states that she didn’t want her aunt to do the documentary. It was Wendy that signed off - and her guardian allowed her to sign off on it. Otherwise, they would have never started filming in the first place. The niece is purposely speaking out so that she can clear the air on concerns and rumors that have been roaming all around the internet. She is doing an excellent job. And at some point, I hope her family can get more involved in the affairs of her health services. Which she has also made clear. They want nothing to do with her money. They have their own money. It’s the affairs surrounding her health that they are most concerned about.

I don't think anyone is going to judge Wendy Williams for her actions on her show. I give her credit for always speaking her truth about herself. She is going through a lot with the diseases that she is dealing with. I have compassion and empathy towards her. My thinking is they agreed to the documentary so as to show everything to the world. In another interview the niece mentioned shooting for the documentary ended sometime last year and she hasnt seen Wendy in over 9 months and is not sure where exactly Wendy is. Rules regarding conservatorships need to be analysed. Why wasnt the niece or sister asked to be the conservatorship? Regarding the hair, Wendy always talked about why she was wearing wigs on her show. My only question is if she already had a diagnosis of dementia at the taping of this documentary did she really consent to be interviewed and aired?

As a nurse who happens to be black, I know this will help many families, especially black families. We have been hiding these types of struggles for a long time. We must stop dealing with these types of struggles on our own, often hearing, "Just pray about it".

@@yulnikita I’m not sure if you have ever worked with anyone with early stage dementia especially those with long term alcohol and drug use but they usually know what they want when coherent. They are not always demented. People go for years before even family know it. I also work with nonprofits and many that have gone through the struggle want to share their story. As a public figure she will help so many. She has a conservator so at least the money will be there to give her the best care. She will still get paid from the documentary.

@@misscathyleads Yes I'm not a nurse but I was a caregiver for 8 years so I can attest to the confusion not being a constant depending on where the patient is medically. I never followed her or her journey but this almost seems like its stripping her away of her dignity and her ability to have some privacy in this. Its hard to struggle in front of all the world to see especially when everyone is nog going to be kind or empathetic towards her. It’s hard not to feel really sorry for WW. I worked as an RN as a case manager in social service’s with all sorts of tragic stories. Its extremely hard to assign a persons control to a temporary guardian but it’s designed to protect the persons personal assets. I suspect they have some evidence that a family member is possibly taking advantage of her. If she’s got this incurable progressive disease she may need those assets to pay for her care. I would caution not to vilify any court appointed guardian, it’s a difficult job and they are usually some of the most dedicated professionals I’ve ever worked with.

i dont know how all the docters come up all out of a sudden with all these diagnoses for her just so they can work on her $$$money too. After she has been broken down by the people around her and the system. She already explained multiple times in a video to have been stolen from all she has and her husband had done her much wrong. She is still clearly in a state of shock that went more so downhill. Very sad!

Alcohol is very dangerous, even worse when mixed with other substances. As someone who worked in a hospital, I’m not shocked. I see same people keep coming back for the same problem. I’ve seen people die, a lot younger than Wendy like in their 30’s. Also I lost a friend from alcohol at age 44. She drank every day.

I strongly disagree with a family or guardianship wanting to air a persons downward spiral with dementia and other health issues. There’s something very peculiar about this situation and it feels ‘staged’ or demonstrably exploitative. Probably a cash grab. Either way it’s sick. I was saddened by this documentary. Wendy does have a family that loves her. It was hard to see these strangers making intimate decisions regarding her health while isolating her son and family. I pray she gets the help that she needs and deserves. She deserves grace, love and prayers.

Wendy had a mini stroke a few years ago on her show: at her age, I doubt this is dementia. It is likely another stroke. The inflammation and other physical issues are likely due to the toxicity of plastic surgery in the breast as well as liposuction in the thighs with the fat/fluid having no where to go but the ankles and the feet. She needs all of the plastic surgery out of her body and intense therapy for shock which has amnesia-like symptoms due to stress of the divorce.
