I miss her show so much. She was always ahead of her time. I learned alot from her, laughed and cried with her, and honestly i love her. She said what everyone else would be afraid to say, and she said it unapologetically. Wendy was and is on the right side of history. You can call her "messy" for all the "hot topics", but she wasnt saying anything that we weren't saying behind closed doors or on the keyboards with fake usernames.

I think a lot of white gay guys like myself are able to better understand and relate in a certain way (there's obviously differences but the concept is the same), to when wendy explained people not wanting to claim being black, implying there's something shameful, negative, or lesser about being black. Literally every day in middle and high school someone was saying "Aye aye I'm not gay" while getting all offended, meanwhile there are gays trynna figure out how to come out.. I still see people getting super offended over someone even questioning if they're gay, and I'm like.... so how do they think of me? I wasn't trynna take attention off the race topic and put on lgtq i just saw an super similar parallel and wanted to point it out. I think its part of what makes me and maybe other gays more empathetic and vice versa

Just say black. Black is used like white. No one would say European American because it sounds weird and is never used, that's how black Americans also feel when called African American usually. But African American is used more to differentiate between black people in America who are descendants of slaves brought to America and those from another country

I tour with 7 men 8 months out of the year. 2 black, 2 Asian, 3 white including myself. We talk racism and shit like that, and I find it really strange that my Asian bro's will not speak on it? In fact they get mad when we bring it up. My black bros get really heated about it, and have lots to say. My white bros lie about how they really feel, and I just don't like idiots no matter the skin colour. I fell off a diving board at a meet a yr ago and all my bro's came to my side.. Just saying....
